If you belong to the LGBTT Community it is necessary to understand the importance of educating our friends and family about sexual diversity. Many times people express themselves to our person incorrectly. Below I present several words and phrases that commonly make us and that, certainly can offend us or make very uncomfortable (as).

Below I present several words and phrases that commonly make us and that, certainly can offend us or make very uncomfortable (as).
"He is gay, but he is good and hardworking" - This comment is offensive and incorrect. As if being gay were something bad and justify talking to us.

As if being gay were something bad and justify talking to us.
"I know you're gay, you can be whatever you are, but you're my friend" - as if being gay were something bad, and unconsciously justify their friendship with us. The truth is that being gay is not bad, it is not sin, much less immoral.

The truth is that being gay is not bad, it is not sin, much less immoral.
"I have friends like you" - aja, so how? - Gay friends? - and what is the problem, you have friends or friends and period. There is no need to be reminded that we are gay, we already know that!

What is the man and what is the woman? - this expression is so absurd and unnecessary. In a relationship between gays, the two men, as in a lesbian, both are women. There are different sexual roles, which have nothing to do with the sex of a person. Educate them!
"I have a friend duck" "I have fag friends" - A total lack of respect. We do not have gays we do not have pens It is important that you correct them as many times as necessary to refer to homosexuals.
"It's just that if I go out with you, you're a teenager that I'm gay" - this comment denotes who they do great insecurity. If our heterosexual friend is sure to be who he is, he should not be afraid to share with homosexual people.
"If you're going to meet a boy, be careful, protect yourself" - as if all gays were going to have sex the first day or as if we were the only ones at risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases. Heterosexuals have the same risk as us and should be responsible and protected in the same way.
The people of the LGBTT community are human beings who deserve our respect for our human dignity. I have to make the observation that this education on sexual diversity includes the people that the same community that sees well that the user comments derogatory and nicknames to refer to us (as).
The day will come when no one has to justify talking or sharing with gay people, meanwhile, it is our obligation to continue educating and demanding respect towards our sexual orientations.
